I, along with with the other BBA1s in this class, have gotten the opportunity to create a separate weblog in BIT301. However, instead of using typepad.com, we are using blogger.com. Although the programs are very similar, even after just making one post to my new blog, I have to admit that I prefer blogger to typepad. It seems more user-friendly and it is very easy to navigate through the website and do everything that you want to do. One thing I especially like is that you can save posts as drafts and then edit them later before you post them. On typepad, I have not been able to finish my posts during one sitting on occasion and have had to copy my post in an email to myself to later paste back in typepad to publish later. Unless I am missing something, I don't think you can save as a draft on typepad. Bud has told me that they have made a lot of updates on blogger.com since we started using typepad.com, and if blogger were what it is now when this class began, he might have chosen it for our class as well.
